The Best. Wallet. Ever. Added bonus? It can do double duty and work as a clutch! Great quality leather and has a place for everything!

Lunt Captiva Gold 5-peice Place Setting, $125.00
Because what girl doesn't want Rose Gold EVERYTHING?!? Rose Gold silver wear? Yes, please!

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, $92.00
Because this is the best smelling perfume in the world. Really. It's all I wear, and I don't see myself ever changing. (Juicy Couture: Please don't ever discontinue this!)

L'Occitane Hand and Foot Cream, $12.00 & $28.00
I swear by this stuff! I keep the travel sizes in my car and in the boyfriend's truck, and the full sizes at home. Try it and thank me later.

Library of Flowers Bubble Bath in True Vanilla, $36.00
Ahhhhhh bath time! Bubbles, a good book, and a glass of Chardonnay. And who doesn't love vanilla? Vanilla is a complement to any scent you add later. Kinda like leopard, it's a neutral:)

Tory Burch Robinson Passport Holder in Mint, $135.00
Because no girl wants to sport the plain 'ole navy blue passport book. If we can sas it up, we will!

Clair Vivier Fold Over Clutch in Leopard, $260.00
Because leopard is a neutral, and every girl should own a nice clutch. That is all.
(FYI, this clutch will be available to ship on January 30th, so preorder NOW for it to arrive in time for Valentine's Day)

Ray- Ban Folding Wayfarer Sunglasses, $155.00
Folding sunglasses? Sign me up!!! How convenient are these?!? AND they're cute! How many thing do you know of that have both of those qualities???

Ugg Ansley House Shoes in Chestnut, $100.00
Personally, I am not a huge fan of Ugg boots since every girl age 5-21 lives in them. Even in the summer. Makes no sense. With that being said, a furry little house shoe to keep your toesies warm in the colder months? Well, I can get down with that.

Dogeared Charmed Open Heart Ring, $16.00
Because it's cute. And sweet. And dainty. And it's Valentine's.

Stella McCartney Faye Flirting Bra and Panties, $140.00 & $28.00
Because it's cute sexy. And there is a difference in raunchy sexy and cute sexy. Personal preference I guess.

Diptyque Mimosa Candle, $60.00
Because it's a candle and it's called Mimosa. Enough said.

Kate Spade Tickled Pink Card Set, $25.00
Every girl should own a set of good stationary. The fact that it's gold and pink is an added bonus.

Blue Nile Heart Lock & Key Bangle Bracelet, $125.00
How cute is this?!? An excellent addition to the ever- growing arm party.

Kate Spade Heart Stud Earrings, $48.00
A great everyday piece to remind her of her special someone:)

Valentine's Day. A holiday that you will hear everything from "It's not a real holiday" (single folks) to "It's my favorite holiday" (the love stricken). I've always loved Valentine's Day, and I've never really had a "Valentine". I mean, I've had boyfriends, but it's just never been a big deal holiday. Allow me to elaborate.

2014

Spent the better part of the evening drinking Chardonnay in the closet room while trying to decide what to wear for my night on the town with my bestie, Tiffany. We then set out to a local watering hole, heard a great band, where I then worked up enough liquid courage to "drunk text" the man friend. Woke up the next morning laughing about all of the fun we had, then checked my phone and wanted to crawl under a rock.
 Shit happens.
I stand by the fact it was a great night.
(btw, we dated for a while after that, so I guess it was ok)

2013

I worked all day. My ex sent flowers that were delivered to the wrong place. It was sweet, especially since he was also my ex of a year at that time, but we were still friends, and I guess he wanted me to feel appreciated (they redelivered the next day).
I got home from work late that night, and on my porch was a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, a big heart shaped balloon, and no card as to whom left them. I called everyone I knew, friends and family, and no one had sent them. We then came to the conclusion that it was the above mentioned (2014) boy, we had talked for a couple months at that point, but who knows really. Thank you to whoever sent them though:)

2012

The beginning of the end of a 4 year relationship. Working all day (again), and I see my sweet friend Kellie's boyfriend (who also happened to be my boyfriends best friend), walking through the parking lot with two bouquets of flowers. One for her, one for me. He said he was delivering for him and for my boyfriend. Thought it was super cute, as at that point I had only ever gotten flowers from my mom, which don't really count (sorry mom). Get home with them, nope. The boyfriend had no idea, as I could tell by his terrible acting skills. So thank you to Kellie's wonderful boyfriend (now husband), for being so thoughtful and loving.

I guess I could be a cynic, but I've always been a glass half full kinda girl. It's a beautiful holiday, one full of grand gestures, and what hopeless romantic like myself doesn't love something like that?  Spent with friends or your man friend, it's the one day out of the year that is spent being completely consumed with love. And after all, we all just want to be loved.

What are your Valentine's Day stories? I'd love to hear them!
